Kissei Pharmaceuticals

In March 2006, Elixir entered into a license agreement with Kissei Pharmaceuticals to obtain the exclusive right to develop and commercialize mitiglinide and related combination products in the Americas.

Bristol-Myers Squibb

In April 2005, Elixir entered into a license agreement with BMS to obtain the exclusive worldwide right to develop and commercialize BMS' lead ghrelin agonist product candidate and several backup compounds for all therapeutic indications.

Siena Biotech S.p.A.

In February 2007, Elixir entered into a collaboration agreement with SienaBiotech S.p.A. in which Siena licensed the right to explore the use of the Company's proprietary SIRT1 inhibitors as therapeutic agents to treat Huntington's disease, and maintains an option to enter into a definitive license agreement for any such compound.

Novartis Pharmaceuticals

In September 2007, we initiated a strategic relationship with Novartis International Pharmaceuticals and at that time Novartis invested $10.0 million in the Company¹s private, series D financing. Simultaneously, we entered into an agreement, under which Novartis paid us a fee and has the right to negotiate to obtain rights to develop and commercialize one of our product candidates.
